External Survey

The external survey is most suitable for location where arrangement with the site management for an onsite risk assessment is not feasible or when time or cost is a concern. In this case, the risk engineer can travel to the location as soon as possible and assess the site’s building construction and condition, expected fire and security protection and surrounding exposures. The information will be based on site observation from areas accessible to the public and from information available in the public domain.

An External Survey Report will be submitted within two weeks after the external survey. The standard report will contain the following sections:

  • General Information

  • Executive Summary

  • Loss Estimate (EML or MFL)

  • Natural Hazard Exposure (Earthquake/ Windstorm/ Flood/ Lightning)

  • Satellite Image from open source

  • Photographs (6 or more)

The report format and loss estimate definition can be customized according to your requirements. A quicker report delivery can be scheduled upon request.
